Chanel haute couture show and a statement against gay marriage prohibition.

Have you seen the Chanel haute couture show in Paris? No? So I think you have to not only because of the fabulous and beautiful designs but also because Karl Lagerfeld set a very important statement at the end of his show and I love it!
Karl Lagerfeld set at his Chanel haute couture show in Paris' Grand Palais, not just a fashion, but also a political statement.

As we now the final of a fashion show is mostly also the fashion highlight, a great and fabulous moment that will be remembered.
At the Chanel couture show at the Grand Palais, it was not only the beautiful dresses in the minds of the viewers, but the thought behind it.
At the end of his show - keeping with tradition - fashion guru Karl Lagerfeld sent his bride-design on the catwalk. A white, romantically decorated robe. Not worn by ONE, but TWO of brides, walking hand in hand through a beautiful backdrop.
Walking next to them: the little mini model and Karl Lagerfelds' godchild Hudson Kroenig.

I think this is a wonderful and important statement against demonstrations and the prohibition of gay marriage!
Especially in Paris where have been several demonstrations against gay marriage the last week and were this topic is currently a highly topic.

So this wasn't only a beautiful haute couture show (you have to watch it because it's really beautiful and I love everything about it...music, fashion, staging!) with beautiful dresses and designs but also a fashion-political-statement and I really love it!
Because there is nothing wrong with love right? So why do so many people think that gay marriage or gay love would be wrong?

What do you think about this statement? A risk? Leave a comment.

David Beckham for H&M- a ladies eye-catcher.

Hello lovelies,

When you think of sexy abs, a beautiful smile and a trained body you may think of your favorite most beautiful hollywood beau or...of David Beckham and the commercial for his first underwear/bodywear line (for men) in cooperation with H&M.Well, it seems like he has forgotten how that smile-thing works but I think it's not that productive to sell body wear for men with a cute smile, than with a hot and strong facial expression.

He does not only design his own underwear, he also present it to us in a damn hot kind of way.
For his commercial he collaborated with Guy Ritchie (who is great producer I think!) and makes women's hearts beat faster...

I think most of you have seen the pictures already but for those who haven't seen it yet...enjoy the pics below the post because the commercial isn't only for men I think but also for all the ladies outside who wants their men look sexy and who love to have a look at trained bodies (even if this isn't the most important thing on a man!).

What do you think of his designs? Would you like to see some pieces on your boyfriends' body?

Fashion risk or classy chic?

Hello lovelies,

I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy your sunday.
My weekend was great even if it's freezing outside and snowing all day long the whole weekend but with the perfect outfit you can brave the cold!

I love waking up on sundays, taking a shower, going back to bed and watching movies or have some fun browsing through blogs and websites. Today took a look at Kim Kardashians blog. Have you seen her blog yet? Well, some people hate her and others love her, I like her and she might have her own (special) taste in fashion but there are some outfits I really LOVE!
So is it with this outfit below which has caused some discussions in the past few days and was named at some worst dressed lists.

I love this outfit because it's classy and classic but also still looks kind of loose. The colors are classic and perfect to hide a small baby bump to protect it from the paparazzi. I also love the neckline because it doesn't show too much and also is still classy.
Her shoes are loosen the outfit and give it something special, a looker.
She called this outfit "a fashion risk" by herself but isn't that what fashion wants? To take some risks and to wear what your heart (or maybe the heart of your stylist) wants you to wear with some impulse?

What do you think of this outfit? Would you wear it this way?

Lena Hoschek- Mercedes Benz Fashionweek Berlin 2013

Currently all big names are located in Berlin because of one of the most important events- the Mercedes Benz fashion week.
While many lucky blogger, journalists and stars are able to enjoy the spectacle up close (maybe front row) we have to take a look at videos and fashion magazines to get a look at the new beautiful collections.
One of my favorite Designer this year is Lena Hoschek. I love her show at the catwalk as much as her beautiful dresses!
She thrilled with a great show in which models with elaborately make-ups and with also elaborate braids walked down the catwalk with harsh guitar music, while colorful piñatas floating above their heads.
I love this collection because of the beautiful feminine cuts, floral prints and as well soft as bold colors.

What are your favorites of Berlin Fashionweek?

Xo Deborah Chloe

New trend alert- Meggins. A Fashion Fauxpas?

Have you ever heard about sexy men wearing tight leggins? No? So didn't I and that's for a good reason I think. But some great genius people might have thought that it would be great to create something that makes our men unsexy as hell and emphasize their feminine side.
Maybe they have watched too much of Robin Hood movies or stuff like that.
Well there might be some men looking good with this new trend but I think that's not a rule.

What do you think about this new trend? Would you like to see your boyfriend wearing your leggins?
Well...If this is getting a trend for real then we shouldn't wonder if we have a look at our closet, wondering where our leggins are...maybe we just have to ask our beloved boyfriends :)
Damn it Robin Hood...

Golden Globes 2013 - best dressed.

Hey there lovelies :)

Today I browsed a little bit in the internet to have a look at all the beautiful dresses at the golden globes and it was a bless to see all these beautiful women with their flawless make-ups and their stunning dresses. But I can't pick all of them so I decided to try out our new Tab (my boyfriend bought himself a new little toy to please himself , a galaxy note...oh...and to please me of course :D ) and make my first own scrapbook-magazine-column.
Maybe I need some more practice in that but it was a huge fun and I loved it!

So what are your best dressed stars at the Golden Globes? What did you love the most, what wasn't that pretty and flawless?

Lanvin-Designer Alber Elbaz for Lancôme.

Hey Lovelies,

I hope you had a great start into the day and that there is more beautiful weather than it is actually here in Germany (it's cold and snowy outside and I miss summer a LOT!).
But this morning I got good news and found a super cute little teaser (accordingly to that news) and that  brightened up my day immediately!

The news is that there will be a collaboration between Lanvin-Designer Alber Elbaz and Lancôme for a new make-up collection in June 2013 and I think we will love it because the teaser is super cute and definitely worth to have a look on it!
Now we can look forward with what eye shadow creations and summer colors Alber Elbaz will sweeten up summer for us!
