Sweet coral floral.

Happy tuesday lovelies,

Hope you all had a great start in this week and there is already spring where you are (it isn't yet in Germany and all I want is to pack my suitcase and to travel to a warmer place.).
As you know I got a crush on that Polyvore thing and I LOVE to create outfits that I want to wear right now (in that warm place where I'm not! :D ).

I love the new floral print trend and I also love coral. So I decided to mix both and to create a sweet coral floral outfit. I love peplum tops (and dresses) because it's so flattering and I also love this adorable tweed by Alice+Olivia- WANT IT! :D I also got a little crush on this beautiful bag...did you notice that? :D
One thing you have to try this season are statement necklaces! I didn't like it that much the first time but the more I see them in stores (and online) or on my favorite blogger girls the more I like them!

What do you think about that outfit? Any suggestions? I appreciate every comment!

Romantic summer dreaming

Hello there sweeties,

hope you all had a great time with your loved ones. I fell in love with a new app called "Polyvore" and LOVE to create some outfits. Here is the first one of my creations, hope you like it :) . I called it "romantic summer dream" because I love to mix flower prints with lace and soft colors and love to add sweet accessories like hair clips or matching sunglasses!
Perfect for a date in summe or for a meeting with your loved ones. <3

Pastel.Spring&Summer.Fashion.Love.

Hello there sweeties.

Sorry for not posting since a few weeks but there were a few things to manage and we worked on a new kind of project I will show you soon.

The last few weeks have been freakin' cold here in Germany and although the spring once had a brief look the temperatures got colder again and we had to pull out our winter clothes again - I couldn't imagine when I wanted to live in beautiful sunny L.A. more than in the last few weeks - and we got a kind of depressive while we had to look into a grey sky again and again (no sunshine).

But what could be more fun than to brave the cold winter weather and shop for some beautiful spring and summer clothes in the most beautiful pastel colors? I love this pastel color trend not only because the wonderful sorbet colors remind me of sweets and a happy living but also because I think most of these colors fit sun kissed women as also as the somewhat paler ones (like me).

So I shopped to get over this bad cold weather and fell in love with a few clothes and I'll show you my favorite picks under the post below. For spring and summer I love to dress up a little bit more girlie and to wear skirts and dresses most of the time.

I hope you have a fabulous day! Maybe some of you can already enjoy a sunny weather (maybe in L.A.? :p ) and if so what are your favorite clothes to start into this spring season?
Leave a comment below :) !

Love this neon and pastel color mixed skirt! So beautiful for spring AND summer and so easy to combine both with a cute white lace top also as with a more casual basic top.

Fancy some muffins on your dress? I fell in love with this dress because for spring and summer I love to dress up a little bit more girlie than in autumn and winter. With these cute muffin dress (maybe mixed with the blue shoes?!) there is a lot of sweetness for sure!

It was love at first sight with this beautiful maxi skirt by mint&berry. Not only the beautiful sorbet colors but also this super cute print! For me this skirt fits perfect not only because of the flattering shape but also because of the print and my blog name (sugarbirds...). This will be my first "project" coming soon sweeties :) Maxi skirt by mint&berry, seen at Zalando

Fancy some soft ice to go? Top by even&odd, seen at Zalando

A little bit more colorful and not that sorbet but I also love this top by even&odd, seen at Zalando

Olivia Palermo for Oscar de la Renta.

When I saw the fashion shows the last few days I fell in love with the collection of Oscar de la Renta and his flawless beautiful designs. I also love Olivia Palermo and so I was more than happy to read that she's the face of a collaboration between Oscar de la Renta and TheOutnet.

As I am a dress lover I fell in love with the dresses of course, but also with the beautiful colorful trousers and blouses, the fabrics and the feminine cuts.
There are flower printed dresses in beautiful and bright colors also as great fabrics with tweed and chiffon.
The designs aren't to bold but that's the point I love about this collection. I think every woman would look beautiful with a bright colored floral printed dress or a classic blouse with a polka dot skirt, a tweed jacket and their most loved heels.

Let's have a look and enjoy :)

New York Fashion Week 2013- My Favorites

Hey lovelies,

Everyone who loves fashion has followed New York Fashionweek the last few days (most of us with pictures or online streams) I guess.
I loved seeing pictures, online streams and interviews with designers or models. I love the atmosphere of each single show at the catwalk as well as behind the scenes where models and designer are excited about their presentation and everyone wants to make everything perfect.

At this fashion week there were metallic skirts and jumper (as seen at the show from Marc Jacobs), velvet has had it's comeback as well as fur and there have been more masculine and strong cuts (Ralph Lauren).
As always I love the designs from Marchesa because their designs are so beautiful feminine and look like made out of a princess dream.
In this post I collected my favorite looks from this years New York Fashionweek F/W2013 to show you them and maybe to discuss them.

What are your favorite pieces and which designer did you like the most? I hope you have a fabulous weekend sweeties!

Xo Deborah Chloe

The Spanish painter Francisco de Goya and his painting, the Maria Teresa de Vallabriga shows in front of a mountain range on horseback, was a source of inspiration of the fall / winter Kollekion 2013/14 by Marchesa. I love their designs because they always look so feminine and like made out of dreams about being a princess or a fairy.

I love Ralph Lauren but the clothes I got at stores have nothing in common with the pieces on the catwalk. There are masculine touched cuts and designs, made for strong and independent women.

love this strong but also feminine look with beautiful ruffles.

I also loved the show by Oscar de la Renta because there were classic two-parter from blazers and knee long skirts presented in a variety of beautiful colors. Also beautiful dresses printed with drawings of asian gardens and decorated with beautiful sparkling stones.
I especially fell in love with these dresses.

Chanel haute couture show and a statement against gay marriage prohibition.

Have you seen the Chanel haute couture show in Paris? No? So I think you have to not only because of the fabulous and beautiful designs but also because Karl Lagerfeld set a very important statement at the end of his show and I love it!
Karl Lagerfeld set at his Chanel haute couture show in Paris' Grand Palais, not just a fashion, but also a political statement.

As we now the final of a fashion show is mostly also the fashion highlight, a great and fabulous moment that will be remembered.
At the Chanel couture show at the Grand Palais, it was not only the beautiful dresses in the minds of the viewers, but the thought behind it.
At the end of his show - keeping with tradition - fashion guru Karl Lagerfeld sent his bride-design on the catwalk. A white, romantically decorated robe. Not worn by ONE, but TWO of brides, walking hand in hand through a beautiful backdrop.
Walking next to them: the little mini model and Karl Lagerfelds' godchild Hudson Kroenig.

I think this is a wonderful and important statement against demonstrations and the prohibition of gay marriage!
Especially in Paris where have been several demonstrations against gay marriage the last week and were this topic is currently a highly topic.

So this wasn't only a beautiful haute couture show (you have to watch it because it's really beautiful and I love everything about it...music, fashion, staging!) with beautiful dresses and designs but also a fashion-political-statement and I really love it!
Because there is nothing wrong with love right? So why do so many people think that gay marriage or gay love would be wrong?

What do you think about this statement? A risk? Leave a comment.

Xo Deborah Chloe

P.S. For all of you who haven't seen the highly discussed picture yet, have a look below the post.

David Beckham for H&M- a ladies eye-catcher.

Hello lovelies,

When you think of sexy abs, a beautiful smile and a trained body you may think of your favorite most beautiful hollywood beau or...of David Beckham and the commercial for his first underwear/bodywear line (for men) in cooperation with H&M.Well, it seems like he has forgotten how that smile-thing works but I think it's not that productive to sell body wear for men with a cute smile, than with a hot and strong facial expression.

He does not only design his own underwear, he also present it to us in a damn hot kind of way.
For his commercial he collaborated with Guy Ritchie (who is great producer I think!) and makes women's hearts beat faster...

I think most of you have seen the pictures already but for those who haven't seen it yet...enjoy the pics below the post because the commercial isn't only for men I think but also for all the ladies outside who wants their men look sexy and who love to have a look at trained bodies (even if this isn't the most important thing on a man!).

What do you think of his designs? Would you like to see some pieces on your boyfriends' body?

Fashion risk or classy chic?

Hello lovelies,

I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy your sunday.
My weekend was great even if it's freezing outside and snowing all day long the whole weekend but with the perfect outfit you can brave the cold!

I love waking up on sundays, taking a shower, going back to bed and watching movies or have some fun browsing through blogs and websites. Today took a look at Kim Kardashians blog. Have you seen her blog yet? Well, some people hate her and others love her, I like her and she might have her own (special) taste in fashion but there are some outfits I really LOVE!
So is it with this outfit below which has caused some discussions in the past few days and was named at some worst dressed lists.

I love this outfit because it's classy and classic but also still looks kind of loose. The colors are classic and perfect to hide a small baby bump to protect it from the paparazzi. I also love the neckline because it doesn't show too much and also is still classy.
Her shoes are loosen the outfit and give it something special, a looker.
She called this outfit "a fashion risk" by herself but isn't that what fashion wants? To take some risks and to wear what your heart (or maybe the heart of your stylist) wants you to wear with some impulse?

What do you think of this outfit? Would you wear it this way?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lena Hoschek- Mercedes Benz Fashionweek Berlin 2013

Currently all big names are located in Berlin because of one of the most important events- the Mercedes Benz fashion week.
While many lucky blogger, journalists and stars are able to enjoy the spectacle up close (maybe front row) we have to take a look at videos and fashion magazines to get a look at the new beautiful collections.
One of my favorite Designer this year is Lena Hoschek. I love her show at the catwalk as much as her beautiful dresses!
She thrilled with a great show in which models with elaborately make-ups and with also elaborate braids walked down the catwalk with harsh guitar music, while colorful piñatas floating above their heads.
I love this collection because of the beautiful feminine cuts, floral prints and as well soft as bold colors.

What are your favorites of Berlin Fashionweek?

Xo Deborah Chloe

New trend alert- Meggins. A Fashion Fauxpas?

Have you ever heard about sexy men wearing tight leggins? No? So didn't I and that's for a good reason I think. But some great genius people might have thought that it would be great to create something that makes our men unsexy as hell and emphasize their feminine side.
Maybe they have watched too much of Robin Hood movies or stuff like that.
Well there might be some men looking good with this new trend but I think that's not a rule.

What do you think about this new trend? Would you like to see your boyfriend wearing your leggins?
Well...If this is getting a trend for real then we shouldn't wonder if we have a look at our closet, wondering where our leggins are...maybe we just have to ask our beloved boyfriends :)
Damn it Robin Hood...
